Detachment
Two hearts meld into one body
One moment
One excruciatingly painful and blissful moment
Of beauty
Something to behold
If only for a moment
Never to return to again
Too unstable to wish for it back again
Knowing, not knowing
Detached and in Love
Patient
Passionate
Waiting
Forever absent and whole
Poised and at the ready
What will come next?
When the key turns and unlocks the door of eternal discovery
There, too, must lie a corpse, waiting, waiting in excruciating agony,
Unable to feel
Unwilling to Love
Why must you search, my dear friend and get so close to the truth, only to then deny it?
Humility is ever near, and yet so very far
Discarded like a dolphin in a tuna net
Ripped off like the fins from a whale
Sold for its high priced commodity
Is this where your heart lies in Love?
Here, do you need help with that baggage?
Are you able to let go and allow a friend take your hand?
Redistribute the weight you carry until such time comes for you to go through the baggage, remembering, embracing, discarding.
Thanking yourself for this journey,
After all, it is you and I who are perfect.
Come, do not stand with me when I am alone and vulnerable.
Do not take my hand when I cry
For your resistance will show me where there are more shadows to shine the light on.
My grief is Your greatest achievement.
I thought I saw you walking down the street just today
Hand in hand with someone new
Then I looked in the mirror
And realized it was just me, in a different form, another scrumptious, luscious, delicious body.
Rip this heart out
Tear it to shreds
For I want nothing
I have nothing except trust in You
General manifester, you are freakin awesome!
Now will you put forth your best?
Be still, my friend
Let you be shown
