Disconnection
There is a gap
A space between
The earth and me
I cannot feel here
Barely alive
Hardly a desire to even be
Content with existence
Yet disgusted and unhappy
At times
Only one small root grounds
Invisible, taken for granted
Unconscious
There is no sacredness
Between the Earth and me
No connection
Only chatter from above
The gamut runs idle
And wild in my mind
Playing me like a puppet
I dance as a marionette
There is no life
In this gap between
The here and now presence
The space to be seen
Disconnection
She will have you
And fill you with gray
Wrap you and take you
Ever further away
